Dr. Sawyer at OTAG Annual Scientific Conference

Dr. Kellie Sawyer presented at the 2024 Occupational Therapy Association of Ghana (OTAG) Annual Conference.

Dr. Sawyer presented on how the GW OT program is centering equity and justice within their entry-level doctorate curriculum. The aim of GW OTs program is to produce a generation of occupational therapists who can authentically apply therapeutic uses of OT for a diverse population of individuals, practitioners, communities and cultures. The presentation was well received with many inquiries on how Ghanian OTs and education programs can engage with GW OT.
